In 2021, three brands of the Saint-Gobain Group, RIGIPS, ISOVER and WEBER, decided to develop an application that would help designers create BIM-compliant models, using Revit from Autodesk as the base platform.
Thanks to our extensive portfolio of work for large, well-known manufacturers, as well as the diverse experience of our employees in the design and implementation industries, codeBIM was selected as the service provider.
As part of our work for Saint-Germain, we developed tools with the following functionalities:
1. A dedicated product/system browser tailored to each of the three brands
2. Filters that allow for the selection of products or systems based on specific parameters
3. The ability to insert systems into the project as well as auto-replacement of existing partitions with new ones and the option to edit the maximum permitted wall height
4. A materials generator with included parameters
5. A pre-wall generator for sanitary frames
6. A Uc coefficient calculator to help users select appropriate insulation from ISOVER’s product range
7. Bills of materials in PDF and XLSX
