Frapol’s head office and production plants are in Kraków, Poland. The scope of the company’s activities covers most of Europe, the Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
In 2017, the company made the strategic decision to invest in BIM and chose our company as its technology partner.
We’ve developed a number of tools for Frapol that can be used by designers. These include:
- Domestic ventilation system
- ONYX recuperators
Each unit configured in the Frapol Select selection program receives its digital twin in three formats within seconds: RFA (Revit family), DWG and IFC.
Like the library families, AF AHU families feature several important elements:
- Geometry: reflecting the exact dimensions of the unit including sectioning and base frame
- Connectors: ventilation, hydraulic, and electrical to connect the family to the installation model
- Service area: allowing for inter-disciplinary coordination
- Parameters: full information about the air-handling unit
Both geometry and parameters are fully compatible with data contained in the selection program, from which it’s possible to request the three formats mentioned earlier.
Once generated, the files are available on a secure Frapol server where they can be downloaded using an e-mail link sent directly from the program.
